Deck the Halls with Silver Baubles
My neighbours have put there Christmas decs up, and I may have spent a little too long staring at them from my window… can you say, Christmas Stalker? Peeping St Nick? Pathetic?
Yup, that’s me.
My plan is to put my tree up the first weekend in December. Don’t worry, I’ll take lots of poor quality photos and share my artistic talent here (or lack there of), but until then I still want to have a touch of Christmas in my little flat.
Cue an in-depth pintrest search, a rather large shopping trolley full of baubles and a whole lotta hot glue.
I made my own damn Christmas Wreath. Like oh my gosh, I am the freaking female Christmas Di Vinci, or maybe just someone who could maybe pass as a ‘B’ student in GCSE art, either way, I’mma blow my own trumpet on this one!
I simply hot glued different sizes of baubles to a circle of foam insulation that good ol’ papa Bradley helped me tape together (y’know on account of I’m apparently incapable of sticking things together neatly…)
I’m actually so happy with how it turned out!
I am not even laughing about the amount of glitter and bauble string and crunched up baubles that is scattered across my living room right now. I am not looking forward to getting home from work tomorrow and trying to hoover it all up.
But at least its beginning to look a bit like Christmas up in here!
